NO.5. SHOCK DAMPERS.

As promised in Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}4/LG22.6.26. we send you herewith two blueprints F.75246 (Sheets 1 and 2) showing how the R.R. Shock Damper can be fitted to the rear of the above chassis.

The shock damper is located below the chassis frame on the inside of the road spring, and to make this possible we have moved the brake ropes 1.550" towards the centre line of the chassis.

The position shown is the most suitable we can find, and we think that the filling point is accessible. Will you please let us know if you are in agreement with what we have shown being applied to this chassis.
