RR 238 (300 Bks.) (SF 152. 6-11-18.) MP 197880 X. 4430. ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED. INSTRUCTIONS. To E.F.C. May 16th 1923 Order No P.B. 93 Customer's No. X 4430 Test of Condenser N°2. The above condenser off 7GII has been tested for leakage and capacity, and by running. It is quite OK as regards leakage, but the capacity is a bit high; it being .372 mfd while our upper limit is .325 mfd. During the running test the condenser was tried fitted into the pocket in the normal way, and also left loose outside and connected by short lengths of wire, thus relying entirely on the pressure from within, for good connections inside the case. In both instances the condenser worked quite well, there being no sparking at the contact points. The distributor was also examined for anything that might cause a bad connection, but nothing was apparent. Signed C.A.P. This Sheet must be filed on completion of the work. | ||
