The Chloride Co. have quoted us as follows for reconditioning those Exide batteries inspected on the 5th ult. which are our responsibility:-

£4.6.0d. net.

Chassis 139-AG. 1 - 12 volt battery R.5249. 3 Ebonite boxes and 2 ebonite lids required
£1.7.4d. net.

£1.9.7d. net.

RECEIVED

The work of reconditioning the above batteries was completed on the 13th inst. and arrangements were made to despatch same on that date to us, together with one 2 volt cell ex chassis 57-GE. R.5250. I assume that the latter was forwarded to the Chloride Co. in error, as it was clearly understood that the cell should be kept here until the remainder of the cells of the battery were returned to us by the Clyde Auto Co.

If you approve of the charges quoted, we will send formal order forthwith.

Wd.{Mr Wood/Mr Whitehead}
