EP.{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer} from Wd.{Mr Wood/Mr Whitehead} c.to EFC. o.to D/BF. X.607 Wd{Mr Wood/Mr Whitehead}3/NJ10.5.22. X 607 Exide Batteries and Cells jointly examined on 5th ult. by Mr.McKinnon & EFC. Amongst these there was one cell of a battery in chassis 57-GE. Clyde Auto Co. It was agreed that the one cell examined is the Chloride Co's responsibility, but it was also agreed that before anything is done with regard to said cell, we should ourselves inspect the rest of the battery and decide without the assistance of Mr.McKinnon whether any further reconditioning requires to be done and who is responsible. In the event of its being necessary to recondition any other parts of the battery, same together with the cell above referred to should then be returned to the Chloride Co. Will you please say whether you have received the remainder of the battery in question and, if so, what is your decision with regard to same. Wd.{Mr Wood/Mr Whitehead} | ||
