- 2 - OIL PUMPS. 13.A. Phantom III Performance and Endurance Tests. 3.HP. variable speed motor 2,500 P.R.P.M. to test pumps in conjunction with sumps, filters, and coolers. Steam heated tank 3 gallons capacity, to supply oil up to 90°C. Provision for delivery tests. 13. Bentley Performance and Endurance Tests. Specification as for 14.A. - rigs can be made interchangeable. FUEL PUMPS. Performance and Endurance Tests. To be arranged on ground floor of aero fuel pump rig. Existing rig to be renovated, and modified to test pumps under conditions of extreme climatic conditions. Also provision for checking deliveries with complete chassis installation for Bentley and Phantom III. GEAR BOX. 15. Endurance and Efficiency Tests. (Synchro-Mesh, Servo, etc). 20 HP. variable speed motor 4,500 R.P.M. 1st Motion Shaft, to suit Phantom III and Bentley types. Flywheel and brake to be fitted to rear end of rig. REAR AXLE. 16. Brake Endurance and Efficiency Tests, also Diff. Box and Brg. Tests. 20 HP. variable speed motor - or fixed speed with gear box - 4,500 propellor shaft speed. Rig to tilt for oil seal tests. | ||
