Copy. N/W. Br/G45/G.22:10.35. re. Technical - 25HP. H.T. Wire. We seem to be getting an unusual number of jobs necessitating re-wires on comparatively new 25-HP cars, with small mileages. In many cases, the H.T. wire appears to be of a poor quality, and seems to perish quickly. This seem more prevalent on the series which have the metal H.T. carrier tubes, and we are wondering whether you have had similar experience at Derby. We understand that the P.III H.T. wires are protected by a cista-flex, or braided covering, and we shall be glad to learn whether you consider adopting a similar principle on the 25-HP chassis. We have a sample of a perished cable, should you wish to see it. Br/G.{Mr Griffiths - Chief Accountant / Mr Gnapp} | ||
