SPRINGS. X9410 ~~X2628~~

With reference to BJ13/H7.10.24. All the cars which are being used for the Press Demonstration fitted with 4-wheel brakes, will be fitted with the latest 12½% stiffer springs. 48-PK car is included in these cars.

We suggest that, having 5 cars to judge would enable the Sales Officials to come to an agreement as regards whether the springing was satisfactory.

As regards the programme for 48-PK car. We have finished with this car for experimental work and do not expect to have it back at the Works. It was arranged that CWB. should run this car in France. If this is done, consideration should be given as to whether the springs should be changed for the 20% stiffer.
