[STAMP: MAY 5 1922 H8] We have received through the Clyde Auto Co., Glasgow, 1 faulty 12 volt Exide Battery ex. the above car. Our examination shows that the plates of 5 of the cells are in a badly buckled condition, furthermore, no ebonite separators are fitted. The remaining cell is in a 100% condition apparently being a replacement, we propose suitably storing this cell until the renovated battery in returned from the makers. Our records show that this battery has been in use since May 1920, the questions of charge for repairs will therefore have to be decided between EFC and the Chloride Co's., representative.
