x109 To Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} from Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} re Bentley. Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}5/E12.4.35 Copy to Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager}E. You will remember that at our conference on the 14th February you gave information that you hoped to demonstrate a Bentley with the Graham Paige supercharger early in March. We are now nearly in the middle of April and I have not heard any more about it. What is the position please? On the face of it, it looks as if we had been a very long time over getting this Graham Paige supercharger fitted up on a Bentley car so that we could try the effect because my records show that the Graham Paige car was sent to Derby as long ago as the 15th May 1934, i.e. nearly a year ago, and one of our main reasons for acquiring this car was to investigate the supercharger. From time to time I have kept asking when we could try it on a Bentley car but so far without result, Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} | ||
