The change to the American drive will be considered later in connection with any such changes to the instrument board as may be necessary for central shift and hand brake levers.

Both chassis. (5) Fuel Gauge in U.S. gallons.

(6) Vacuum Feed. standard autovac. R.R.Ltd., do not agree to any change in this.

2nd chassis. (7) Horn. It is proposed to fit second car with "buzzer" horns of various types and decide best type by trial. R.R.A.I. at present favor Sparton "SOS. De Luxe".

(8) Fuses. Standard.

(9) Fused Terminal on Dash. As agreed.

Both chassis. (18) Front Mudguard Irons. Both chassis will be fitted with English mudguards. R.R.A.I. are working on adapting their present mudguards to P.II chassis and will send information shortly relative to desired curvature of mudguard irons for best fitting of their standard mudguards.
R.R.A.I. have agreed to use present pressed channel irons on the 200 order, but desire to have the curvature slightly modified for convenience in fitting their mudguards.
Possibly it may later be desired to fit one of these chassis with American mudguards, if so, R.R.A.I. will send a pair of front mudguards without charge.

Both chassis. (19) Petrol Tank Filler. Hinged type on both chassis.

Both chassis. (20) Steering. Both chassis E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} steering. standard side steering tube springs. R.R.A.I. in winter tests on 69-WJ have found so far no indication that standard stiffness of side steering tube will not be acceptable in U.S.

Both chassis. (21) Ignition. Both chassis - Magneto and battery agreed to.

Additional Proposals.

2nd chassis. (1) Crankcase Oil Drain.
Understand that improved form of drain is to be fitted in second chassis.

Both chassis. (2) Width between wheelhouses.
Understand this will be present standard on both expl. cars, but that on 200 order R.R.A.I. will have the benefit of any changes standardised for production. We would like to urge the importance of this.

cont'd.{John DeLooze - Company Secretary}
