a tight fit on the Clutch Cone. This altered size is actually being used in the shops, but the drawing alteration had not been completed. It was agreed that this alteration should be proceeded with.

Knurled Hand Wheel for Foot Brake Adjustment - G.3487

The Production Drawing Office recommend engraving on the face of this wheel, wording to indicate direction in which the wheel should be moved for the adjustment of the brake, and also that the nut and washer retaining this wheel should be plated to match the wheel. It was agreed that this alteration should be carried out and the lettering should be engraved and not etched.

Idler Shaft Spur Wheel - E.15737.

The Production Drawing Office raised the question of dimensional thickness of the web of this wheel near the boss. It appeared that the drawing was not to scale, and the wheel made to dimensions should be altered to bring the thickness of the web to a more reasonable thickness.

Brake Equalising Bevel Pinion - G.6457

This bevel pin which is brazed to its shaft is shewn on the drawing as being without taper pins. The works practise is of course, to drill for and fit taper pins for brazing purposes. It was agreed that the drawing should quote two taper pins properly fitted, in accordance with standard practise.

RE CONDOR ALTERATIONS

Mr. Bailey raised a number of points relating to necessary alterations on the Condor, and after a discussion it appeared unlikely that such alterations could be conveniently and usefully dealt with by the committee.

It was pointed out that the Condor is not at the moment in that condition in which it can be considered a fully completed production job, and the opinion of the committee was that Condor alterations should not at this stage be brought before it.

It was agreed that Bn.{W.O. Bentley / Mr Barrington} should discuss the matter with Mr. Swift who was unavoidably absent from the meeting.
