Interchangeability of gearboxes and arrangements for a special unit for the Ulster race between chassis B-35-AE and B-187-BL.

The gearboxes are interchangeable between B-35-AE and B-187-BL. On the other hand, it is not proposed to leave the special gearbox being prepared for B-35-AE with this car as the bottom gear will be a racing ratio and will not permit of a start being made on any appreciable gradient. We therefore think that the gearbox will be considered as part of the special unit provided for B-35-AE for the Ulster race and will be returned to the works after the race.
