DIRECTION INDICATOR FOR "S.S".

We send herewith N.Sch.2897. shewing a rear direction indicator arranged for fitting behind the dual wheel carrier for "S.S.".

We have left the main body, which is made by Messrs Rotax with HN.{F. C. Honeyman - Retail orders} who is arranging with Messrs Butlers to fit the stop lamp.

When it is completed it will be sent direct to HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} and we suggest that it be fitted to the rear of 18.EX.

You will notice that we wish the off-side trunnion to be removed, and a fitting for the wires to be put on to the near-side trunnion after it has been shortened.

A cast plate should be fitted in the place of the steel one which the makers supply.

Sales will also send you the necessary switch for the stop lamp and a Eural two sector ring for working the direction indicator.

We shall shortly send to you a sketch of two arrow indicators which we would like you to fit into the wooden cant rail above the wind screen.

This equipment was originally intended for 24EX. but as that car has been taken over by Sales as a trials car it is no longer available for experiments of this nature.
