ROLLS ROYCE LTD., DERBY. ENGLAND. Hm.{Capt. W. Hallam - Head Repairs}15/ML. 29.9.40. M.Olley,Esq., Rolls Royce Incorporated., 2-251, General Motors Building, DETROIT. Dear Olley, re your Serial 213. (Magnetos.) You seem to have got this all lined up. I do not know why you have not received the gun drawings, unless possibly, the censor took exception to it going out of the country.. If you can, without inconvenience to yourself, keep me posted regarding the latest development re trucks and automobiles, I shall be very grateful. While the greater part of our energy is concentrated on our war effort we are still doing a little design work on peace-time projects and since we can do no development work ourselves, American information is of the greatest value. The war is beginning to get really rough in some parts of this country. We have just heard that the first batch of destroyers has arrived. We need 'em! Yours sincerely, | ||
