Re Worst Features on Bentley cars -

(1) Performance in view of increased weight.
(2) Fading of Brakes.

re 20/25's.

Referring to Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}1/B4.4.35 relative to poor brakes, stiff steering and noisy back axles on 20/25's, Memo. Worl/R.15.4.35 was read, being the result of investigations into these matters.

Re Brakes, it was agreed that the stiffer caps referred to ought to be introduced as quickly as possible. By.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} will arrange this and let us know the scrap.

Re 35° instead of 45° servo cam a set of these was handed to Cx.{Major Len W. Cox - Advertising Manager} to fit on our Trials car, GSF.5 and, as this is said to achieve 75% of the 4 improvements detailed in the memo. in question, it was agreed that this ought to be introduced on production as quickly as possible.

Here again BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} will investigate the position with a view to achieving this and let me know the scrap value.

A special effort ought also to be made to bring in the other three items.

Re Steering, the alterations here are the change of oil in the steering box and the reduced poundage of the cross steering tube.

It is assumed that arrangements have been made to introduce these features on production immediately.

Depot Instruction Sheets must also be issued immediately about these.

It was considered and agreed as very urgent to push on with trying the SpectreCodename for Phantom III Marles steering box on the 20/25 and a special effort will be made to get a set through for 21-G-IV but it will have to be very much better than
