RR 238 (150 BKS.) (DB{Donald Bastow - Suspensions} 461-8-12-24) MP 306975 ROLLS-ROYCE, LTD. INSTRUCTIONS. To Order No. (2) Customer's No. We then changed the coil for a standard coil and repeated the tests with the same result. We do not therefore consider the P.W.F. coil to be at fault, but consider that the misfire is occasioned by imperfect contact breaker action due to poor H.F connections and tungsten points. It is suggested therefore that we fit the std earthing connection to the distributor and see if this will cure the trouble. In any case we do not consider the fault to be of much consequence.
