contd :- -2- With regard to the brakes. We have found over here that we get highly satisfactory brakes with the following arrangement : (1) Woven cotton servo linings. (2) 45º cams. (3) Brake pedal countershaft levers O.S. lever G.76811 1.375". N.S. lever 1.375" All other portions of the braking system in precisely the same state as when xxx the car left the Works except that the brakes are lined with Ferobestos. We should like you to give us your opinion as to whether, when the car is arranged in this manner, you consider it is necessary to fit the altered levers on the front brake equaliser shaft to reduce front braking i.e., the levers G.76846. We are sorry that we only sent one of these levers - another one is being despatched to you. hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
