any information. Mr Nadin suggested that Mr Platford should write to Sales for this information. The Committee agreed.

90th Meeting Sluggard Car.
30th Nov. 1911

Mr Spinney advised the Committee that the work on the "Sluggard" car was to some extent in abeyance until the question of the radiator could be satisfactorily settled. He informed the Committee that the proposed scheme of a 30 h.p. radiator arranged obliquely in the frame could not be brought in.

It was suggested that the correct form of radiator was flat fronted and not torpedo shaped.

It was agreed that Mr Swetnam should proceed with designs for a narrow and high flat radiator to be specially made for the work.

The point was raised that this expense had been previously considered, and that the total cost of the Sluggard modification would probably be far in excess of the £40 originally suggested.

Mr Wormald pointed out that the figure would be nearer £100, and he suggested that Mr Johnson should be advised to this effect.

"Mr Johnson said - "Agreed, if you can see a chance of breaking one hour record."
