H R H 254 (100w.) X543. 16.4.12. G 252R the R.R. otherwise the engine is very easily stopped. The engine does not run as slowly as the R.R. and engine running car standing is not so quiet. The worst noise seems to be the tappets. + valves Carburation is Very Fair car can be accelerated from running slow without any misfiring or " popping back " but feels rather weak and if the accelerator is only half opened the engine accelerates more quickly. After running the engine hard on retard and then accelerating again the engine seems to have no power as though the carburation was much too weak, and is a considerable time before engine again begins to pull. The engine has crankshaft periods at about 30 miles per hour ( slight) and 45 miles per hour ( bad ) The valves leave their seats quite early, ie 50 miles Contd. | ||
