Hythe No.4/Crewe. To: ... ... Dmr. SB.{Mr Bull/Mr Bannister}/P. 23.1.59. c: IG. JB. Hpd. Gry.{Shadwell Grylls} Cmr. JPS. FHM. Mobile Instruction School for U.S.A. Now that we have decided to go ahead with this project, it is necessary to settle a few essentials. 1. The Instructor will be F.{Mr Friese} Howe, presently an Instructor in the Instruction School at Hythe Road. He will be given additional training at Hythe Road on road testing and diagnosis, and he will be given the responsibility for organising the instructional material required. 2. Details of instructional material will be submitted separately as soon as we have made up our minds what is required, but as, in any case, an 'L' engine, a power steering unit, and the new air conditioning unit will be required, it would be appreciated if Cmr could cater for all these requirements on receipt of the necessary information. Possibly Dmr could arrange to have some parts prepared for instructional purposes in the Apprentice School. 3. I will obtain from America a drawing of the 30' trailer which will be used, and as we would like the finished trailer to be an attractive piece of publicity when it is operational in U.S.A., it would be appreciated if JPD would do a colour wash drawing of how it could be styled. I will discuss this with JPS separately. /over | ||
