Steele}/BJW. 19/PJS. 21.1.59 and FS{F. Steele}/Crl.{C. R. Lisson} 4/VR.{E. S. Voller - Orders} 22.1.59 concerning the above. The samples of seven-plywood veneered with the Brazilian Walnut by FS{F. Steele}/Crl{C. R. Lisson} and submitted to the Paint Laboratory for testing, have shown the same type of cracking failures after application of our normal woodfinishing system, as the car set which he had similarly veneered. The cracking appeared before the samples were subjected to any weathering tests, and consequently this batch of veneer cannot be considered suitable for Production use. BJW FS{F. Steele}/BJW. | ||
