Hdv.Rn.{Mr Robinson}Mr. Gear Lever Rattle on the Bentley. Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}3/El.2.35 Referring to Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}19/KW.29.1.35 I am very pleased to see that the above question has been seriously tackled because it has been one of those irritating little matters that have been in existence for a very long time, prevalent, as you say, on the 20/25 as well as on the Bentley. I note that you propose to get half a dozen sets fitted up as quickly as possible on various cars as referred to in the penultimate paragraph of your memo. but you do not specifically mention 5-B-IV, but if you have not made arrangements, it would seem advisable to do so, so that it gets officially clear for standardisation.
