| Hs {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} X418 BY...from C. -c. to Hs. {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} Re Mr.Geoffrey Smith Mr. Geoffrey Smith writes me in regard to his new 20 hp car as follows:- "With regard to tyres, I certainly am disappointed to know that the smaller wheels are not available, as the car would look better the lower it is. Are you agreeable to my carrying on your tests with the smaller wheels, since the chassis will always be available for your inspection when desired? If this is not practicable I will, of course, adopt your recommendation of 6" sectioned tyres to fit your standard rims." Would it be of any value to you for Mr. Geoffrey Smith to run on the smaller wheels and balloon tyres, in spite of the reduced clearances? | ||
