X4430 To BY. {R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} from EFC. {E. Fowler Clarke - Electrical Engineer} c. Mr. Brock. c. EP. {G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer} EFC {E. Fowler Clarke - Electrical Engineer} 2/T13.7.23. X.3604cr {Mr Cra???ster / Mr Chichester} - PRODUCTION TEST OF 20 H.P. PAPER CONDENSER FOR BATTERY IGNITION. X4430 Would you kindly note that resulting from experimental work on the rise of capacity with temperature on the Goshawk ignition paper condensers, reported in our EFC {E. Fowler Clarke - Electrical Engineer} 1/T13.7.23, we have decided upon the additional item No.10 - capacity check at temperature - to be included in the production test of the condenser, as requested by you some time ago. You will note that we have put the temperature at 50°C in place of 60° as suggested by you. This is considered more appropriate as we have determined that at this temp. the condenser is capable of holding a static charge, though it would be incapable of doing this at 80°C. Item 10. is attached. EFC. {E. Fowler Clarke - Electrical Engineer} | ||
