X8770 To BP. - from Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} c. BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} (struck through) c. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} Wor{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager}2/M26/5/25. With reference to your complaints of 24 items that you say need attention on 'V' series, I attach a copy of note I have sent to BJ. dealing with items 1 and 2, as I promised, for your information. With reference to the other items, I am afraid you have not quite understood CJ's memo, reference CJ12/E14/5/25; if you will read it again you will see that your right course is to bring these matters which you think need alteration in design etc. either before CJ. or BJ. It is, however, useful to have your criticisms, but we are fully aware that one could go on criticising constantly on our new product. I am sure Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} and BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} and the Works generally are cognizant of, and are doing all possible to find cures for the faults that exist, and I suppose will exist for ever, because we are always finding out something new. Nevertheless, I am pleased to have your report, and the matter shall have our earnest consideration, but I do ask you to report any of your complaints and proposed alterations to either CJ. or BJ.
