2300 STEADMAN SECRET. To-BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} from E/JNR.{Charles L. Jenner} c. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} - RHD. E/JNR.{Charles L. Jenner}2/HP.2.2.35. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} re SpectreCodename for Phantom III Oil System. We send you herewith:- LeC.4386 showing the oil temperature regulator which is made with half the resistance of the present one. We should like this put in hand at once and tested in conjunction with leaving out the bypass valve for the temperature regulator, which is in the relief valve unit. The design calls for some new size of tubes in the matrix. The cover plates and baffles at either end are new to give us adequate passages. The aluminium casing round the regulator is unaltered. LeC.4386 herewith. E/JNR.{Charles L. Jenner} | ||
