PHANTOM II SPRINGING COMPLAINTS.

CURRENT COMPLAINTS.

124-WJ. Pomeroy Burton. Car abroad and no particulars yet received. Hm.{Capt. W. Hallam - Head Repairs} in records considers this more likely to be over sprung and thinks bumping unlikely. Drilling valves of shock absorbers recommended and altered poundage.

✓ 47-WJ. - H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} Tevis. Owner thinks springing too lively for S. African roads where car is going. We have fitted complete set of heavier springs.

88-WJ. C. Woolf. Curious complaint by one brother Woolf that his car 88-WJ. though identical with other brother's was not so comfortable. Matter dealt with by alteration to cushion.

✓ 109-WJ. Dreyfus. Springs too weak. Body builders exceeded weight by over 2 cwt. Two new rear springs.

✓ 131-WJ. Sir R.{Sir Henry Royce} Hadfield. Heavier springs required for the abnormal load always carried by this owner (claims he loads his car to 65 cwt!!)

21-XJ. Bromhead. Weight distribution wrong. Car down on n.s. - stronger n.s. springs to be fitted.

✓ 111-XJ. Colonel H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} Campbell. O.K. for England, but bumps in France. Springs seem to be too light for speed on Continent.

✓ 135-XJ. - D.{John DeLooze - Company Secretary} Hamilton. Bumping on buffers, stronger springs to be fitted.

15-GN. Trevor Williams. Too much movement, no wheel carried at rear. This to be now arranged for. Also a change of springs if necessary.

✓ 28-GN. Capt. W.R. Bailey. Owner thinks springs too weak. Bumping often. Car going to N. for particulars.

91-WJ. Sir James Dunn. Excessive pitching. Passengers thrown about.
