Dear Wilks,

Thank you for your letter of the 9th December.

Do the best you can with the cylinder block and if it is ready in time we will run it. I think it would be more satisfactory if we could get the 6 bores chromium plated. The finished size of our block is 3.500 +

Let me know if you still find it impossible to do more than 3 bores, in which case we shall have to fit oversize pistons as you suggest.
