- 2 - BY.3/G.21.6.39. BENTLEY V.{VIENNA} BRAKES. This is to be considered this week in detail from the material cost point of view by BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} and Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}, in conjunction with a Works man earmarked for the job by RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} Cost incorporated in RHC{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer}/CAN.2/LS.15.6.39. The figures quoted are the costs which will be worked to at the time the Rationalised programme is introduced complete, which is planned for February next. It was suggested that we should have a further cost based on the use of special tools, where such could be used advantageously, as it was considered special tools might be a necessary feature in many cases to get the cost right. It was decided that for Monday (26th June), the Section to be dealt with should be "REAR AXLE - SEMI-FLOATING", and for Monday week (3rd July) tentatively "STARTER MOTOR". BY.{R.W.
