Rolls Royce Ltd., Nightingale Lane, Derby. Dear Sir, We much regret you were too busy to grant our Mr. Rippon an interview when he called upon you recently. In his report he informs us that you have found the Aeroplane Oil, which we sent you, in every way satisfactory except the Setting Point. He states that according to your tests you found the Oil freeze at -2°C. and that you consider this would be a disadvantage in the field. We may say that we are more than glad to hear of the results obtained, and with regard to the Setting Point we feel sure you will be interested to learn that the Government will accept +2°C., and in view of the conditions existing to-day we consider a freezing point of -2°C. exceptionally good and the Oil an ideal lubricant, especially P.T.O. | ||
