As they have failed to do their 10,000 miles test they cannot become standardised, so we cannot recommend using same. (2) TYRE PUMP FOR ARMOURED CARS. Wd.{Mr Wood/Mr Whitehead} visited makers yesterday and stated this morning they would not deliver more than 48 this week, out of the 100 required. This would leave an outstanding balance of 52 to be delivered after the date of expiration of contract. (3) SPRINGS. Wd.{Mr Wood/Mr Whitehead} has received revised prices from Woodheads re. Springs, these are being compared, by the Order Office, with previous prices. (4) REFERENCE MINUTE (1) OF YESTERDAY'S CONFERENCE. Sub-paragraph (a). Side Oil Tanks. Mr.Swift reported that 35 out of the 40 Tanks required would be ready today. Dynamos. 44 received yesterday, and a further supply will be ready on Friday. Junction Boxes. 74 received yesterday. Oil and Fuel Gauges. We have asked Durants for 100 pairs this week and 100 pairs for each of the next three weeks, and they have promised to comply, if at all possible. | ||
