HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rel. FROM E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} Copy to BY ORIGINAL E3/430. 30.11.31. x7080 re. P. 2. TWIN CARBURETTERS. We have never shewn a single hole eccentric plug adjuster on the above carburetter. Our last design LeC. 2905. still shews the double hole type. R.{Sir Henry Royce} has never been partial to eccentric adjustment although we first introduced it on a car carburetter, and it was not used on LeC. 2905. because Mr. Lovesey thought at the time the double hole scheme could be made to work as on the Solex. We should however be interested to see the scheme you propose to adopt, when it is ready. E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} | ||
