YOUR REF________ OUR REF M/5 24th March, 1941. Handwritten notes: Customers cars. 261(3) c. k.{Mr Kilner} Johnson W.A. Robotham, Esq., Messrs. Rolls-Royce, Ltd., DERBY. Dear Robotham, With regard to my Bentley car, the enclosed is a description of it which I think needs no further comment. I am only willing to dispose of it if I can find an old 3½ to take its place. At the present moment I can and therefore I would be willing to accept £1,250 for the car, this including the Licence to the end of the year. If I lose the opportunity of the old car, then my offer is off but if you could let me know whether your customer will definitely buy it, then I can close with the other one I have in view and let him have mine. It is very good of you to take this trouble. The general opinion here seems to be that a car like mine will climb in value to a good deal higher figure than that we are talking of at the moment and I am inclined to think so myself. Yours sincerely, G.R.N. Minchin Handwritten note: Till Thursday mid day I shall be at Rundells, near Harlow Essex, Potter Street 106 Then till Saturday morning c/o The Hon Ernest Siddeley, Poynings, Northumberland Rd Leamington, phone 1167. | ||
