- 2 - K.5/HP.28.9.33. (4) Sec. 5050. Cylinder. The item mentioned here is simply reverting to the cylinder head cover for thermostatically operated shutters and this section can be considered cleared. (5) Sec. 5090. Camshaft. It is recommended that we go ahead with the cam. balancing scheme as on the 15 chassis. Modification to the oil slot is covered by section 5000. (6) Brake for Dynamo Drive. It is recommended that for the 200 cars the housings for the brake blocks on the wheelcase should be left on and covered by plain plates. (7) Sec. 5082. Air Silencer. (8) It is assumed that the studs mentioned here - XB.1156 require to be different on account of the new petrol pipe, and it is agreed that they can go ahead. (8) Sec. 5160. Water Pump. It is assumed that the plug mentioned here - XB.1081 is required for shutting off the connection to the thermostat bypass scheme which is now dropped. This plug will be required for as many pumps as have been made with the bypass connection on, but the pump casting will be modified as soon as possible. (9) Sec. 5181. Petrol Pump. As it has been arranged all along with S.U. to deliver the petrol pump complete, this section will be washed out. (10) Sec. 5200. Oil Fittings. It is recommended that we go ahead with this section. Instructions will be cleared up for moving the petrol tap on to the driver's side. | ||
