Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} C. WCF. [crossed out] C. RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} [crossed out] X 7600 BY3/G.7.11.28. DOUBLE SPARE WHEEL CARRIER. R.{Sir Henry Royce} has wired in response to my telegram as follows :- " Spare wheel carrier do not delay SS.{S. Smith} by anything. Let original design serve as found convenient. " from which you will observe that he is in agreement with the policy I have initiated viz. we carry on with the present spare wheel carrier and fit it to say the first two cars . If we get the new scheme quickly we will then arrange for further cars to have the later proposal. BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} By | ||
