X.563.-SELF STARTER -

Extract from R9/IB25515.

With reference to the electrical self starter,
any dynamo will do which has a satisfactory drive. I think
even the Lucas with a larger pulley would suit my purpose, and
the Willard and the armature with 45 sections. The brushes
on the motor armature must be left to the discretion of the
experimenters. They could be of the highest conductivity of
carbon, or the carbon copper mixture, or the entirely metal
block, as used on the Peerless Starter.
