~6027~ X.563.-SELF STARTER - Extract from R9/IB25515. With reference to the electrical self starter, any dynamo will do which has a satisfactory drive. I think even the Lucas with a larger pulley would suit my purpose, and the Willard and the armature with 45 sections. The brushes on the motor armature must be left to the discretion of the experimenters. They could be of the highest conductivity of carbon, or the carbon copper mixture, or the entirely metal block, as used on the Peerless Starter. | ||
