Order No. JC104 Customer's No. X4049 Re Cadmium Readings on Batteries in various conditions. Below are some readings taken with the Cadmium on cells in various conditions of charge & discharge. When a good cell is charging & cadmium readings are taken immediately after switching off, the negative will be found to go weak whilst the positive is constant. A cell gives a higher negative reading on the negative when charging with weak acid than when charging with acid of correct density.
