X196 EP.{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer} c. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} BY4/H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} 14. 7. 24. FAN AND DYNAMO BELTS. Referring to EP{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer}/Thn4/H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} 11. 7. 24. we are desirous of trying out any form of belt for the above service which holds out a reasonable chance of success. We do not propose, however, to be rushed into a change in this particular matter until we are sure we are on the right track. I have a very lively recollection of something like 1500 belts being scrapped once before because we were anxious to make a move and made it in too much of a hurry. BY.{R.W.
