| Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}3/ML. 12.4.40. W.Martin-Hurst,Esq., Teddington Works, Windmill Road, Sunbury-on-Thames. Dear Mr. Martin-Hurst, I have discussed your letter of April 2nd. with Mr. Hives. I am exceedingly sorry that you do not think our offer to bear two thirds of the cost of your mishap is an equable way of disposing of the matter. Naturally we shall be very sorry if you sell your car but if you feel that this is the best thing to do we shall of course, do everything that we can to make the best possible deal easy for you. At the present moment of course, we are only running a skeleton Sale Staff, but we have written to Major Cox, of 14 Conduit Street, asking him to give you special consideration should you decide to put the matter in his hands. Yours sincerely, | ||
