STANDARDISATION of CHASSIS PARTS.
Description of Parts.
COARSER PITCH REAR AXLE GEARS.
Origin.
To enable quiet axles to be produced more easily.
Experimental Test Report.
The ratios have been altered from - 14 X 60 and 13 X 60 to 11 X 60 and 12 X 50.
The gears have been altered from 6 to 5 pitch.
Road Test Report.
Run 10,060 miles on 7-G-11 - no trouble.
Number of sets now been fitted on production cars.
