Bentley Modified Lubrication to Rear Brake Actuating Shafts G.L.833. I have at your request made a test to see whether there is a sufficient supply of oil in extreme cases, and any leak inside the brake. The tests have proved that the supply is sufficient with shafts fitted up dry after two discharges of the pump. Frequent discharges of the pump failed to show oil leaking inside the brake drum, the outer release hole drained away all excess of oil. We are still waiting for a scheme for the 25 H.P. and 25/30 where troubles are many, and we are still sending out cars liable to trouble. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/GWH.{George W.
