2. P.III Worst Features.

a.{Mr Adams} Loss of Cross Steering Tube Poundage.
Hd.{Mr Hayward/Mr Huddy} and Sr. have had no recurrence of trouble after the latest split contacts have been fitted and the joints set up with 4 lbs damping.
Br.{T. E. Bellringer - Repair Manager} reports four cases of recurrent trouble. No further remedy is known at present, but further modifications are on test.

b. Steering Column Slack.
This is due to the balls in the steering roller sinking into the race. Increased depth of hardening is the cure.
Rollers having this modification are already on production, and are available if required by Service Stations.

c. Hand Brake inadequate and affected by load.
Br.{T. E. Bellringer - Repair Manager} reports that removing the load from P.III has the effect of reducing the amount of hand braking. He will demonstrate this complaint to Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}
A modification for providing notches of a finer pitch for the hand brake ratchet was asked for and a scheme will be prepared.

d.{John DeLooze - Company Secretary} Clutches not stopping.
Apart from ensuring perfect alignment between gear box and engine, little can be done to remedy this trouble.
