Sheet No.3.

e.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} Carburetters
There has been an epidemic of flooding carburetters, which is attributed partly to dirt and partly to bad finish of the needle valve.
Zeniths are improving the finish of the valve, and carburetters already in the Works are being returned to them for correction if required.
Carburetters with correct needle valves will be available for Depots in cases of complaint.

f.{Mr Friese} Brake Seizures.
Br.{T. E. Bellringer - Repair Manager} complained of seized brake mechanism, but it was pointed out that there is a modification for the bell crank levers.

g.{Mr Griffiths - Chief Accountant / Mr Gnapp} Over heating of old type radiator matrices.
It was suggested by Br.{T. E. Bellringer - Repair Manager} that we should anticipate trouble on all the old type Mark V Matrices, which had not been modified by the makers, and should change them before complaints arise.
No decision was taken because of lack of information regarding the cost involved.

h.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} Over heating with new type Matrices when idling in traffic
Hd.{Mr Hayward/Mr Huddy} reported that all the 12 high speed fans have now been fitted.
Information is required as to what will be involved in producing say a further half dozen fans for extreme cases of complaint and what will be the cost of fitting them.

i. Servo squeaks.
There is no cure for this.
