We have received from the above 1 - 12 volt Exide Battery complete alleged to be faulty.

Our inspector who dismantled and examined this battery reports that all the positive plates are buckled causing a short circuit in each cell.

No ebonite separators are fitted, this being an old type battery. According to our records this battery has been in use since February 1921 which is only just over 12 months, we therefore consider that the makers should renovate free-of-charge.

Kindly note we are preparing this battery for the inspection of the Chloride Co's., representative.
