A feature which has been suggested by the Exptl: Production Dept: to facilitate assembling is the drilling of a hole, as shown in sketch below, after the gears are screwed in position, which position is indicated by an etched arrow or other suitable mark, the idea being that the parts can be assembled in the box and the coincidence of the two holes tested by a piece of suitably sized wire. The coincidence of the holes in combination with that of the etched arrows determining the correct position of the gear in the box, as pre-determined before assembling.
