Dear Mr.Smith,

We have recently produced a crankshaft design which lends itself particularly well to cast steel. You are about the only Company in England who are successfully manufacturing this type of material.

Could we send down our Foundry man and an engineer to learn something about this product.? They could come down by road, arriving about 10 a.m. and leaving at 4.p.m.

We seem to have been bothering you with this sort of thing a great deal lately, and I apologise for presuming upon your good nature so heavily.

Yours sincerely,
