REAR WHEELARCHES AND BODY BRACKETS. Please receive herewith the following schemes :- F.CD.1069 Additional Wheel Arch Support Bracket. (Rear). F.CD.1070 Clearances for Additional Wheel Arch Support Brkt. The above schemes show an additional wheel arch support bracket, situated 6.200 behind the rear axle. This has been found necessary, as the load on the existing wheelarch Floatex mountings appear to be too great. We have also shown stiffening plates to support the Floatex mounting flanges, as they deflect under load. Please instruct experimentally with a view to getting on production as soon as possible.
