OIL RELAY ADVANCE. X8685

When the car is on the road, the oil relay advance is working the whole time. We suggest therefore that wear may quickly take place on the joints of the controls.

It requires a fair load to operate the magneto contact breaker because in order to damp down the oscillations caused by the effect of the armature on the sleeve, friction is added in the magneto itself.

The joints, if kept well lubricated, will collect the dirt and dust under the bonnet. We suggest, some of the joints should be made larger.
