contd :- -2- The tank unit should always be connected up to the triple line before the instrument board end. When the installation has to be dismantled for any reason, the unions at the tank unit should always be disconnected first - this is most important. If the gauge functions erratically, it is almost sure to be due to petrol having got into the air line. If this happens of course no pressure can pass along the line. The instructions given by Messrs. Hobson to clear the line by means of a tyre pump must then be xxxx followed exactly. [Handwritten] Will you please send with me gauge some K.S.
