Your ref, Research HSC/Q.2017. Dear Sirs, We thank you for your letter of the 26th. May re ignition investigations. We notice that we shall have to supply the electric drive, and as we cannot possibly spare our Laboratory rigs for this purpose, one will have to be made. Our Laboratory engineer would like to visit your Laboratory and see your equipment and at the same time discuss the necessary test rig and apparatus. We are especially interested in the effects of enclosing ignition cables in earthed metal tubes and would like, if possible, this to be included in the preliminary investigation.
